Our tune-ups include checking refrigerant levels, inspecting and cleaning the condenser coil, testing capacitors and safety controls, tightening electrical connections, lubricating moving parts, flushing the condensate drain line and checking thermostat calibration and airflow.

Standard 1-inch filters should be changed every 30 to 90 days. In Florida summers, or if you have pets or allergies, check the filter monthly. Thicker 4- to 5-inch media filters usually last 6 to 12 months. A clogged filter is one of the most common causes of AC problems.
Florida's humidity causes algae and sludge to build up in the condensate drain line, which can lead to leaks or shut the AC off. Pouring about a cup of white vinegar into the drain line access every few months helps. We also flush the drain line during every tune-up.
You can do basic care: turn off the power, clear leaves and debris, keep at least two feet of space around the unit, and gently rinse the coil with a garden hose (never a pressure washer). Leave refrigerant, electrical parts and deep coil cleaning to a licensed technician.
It can. Many manufacturers require proof of regular professional maintenance to honor the warranty. Our tune-ups are documented, so you have the records you need if a covered part ever fails.
